UrbanBohoChic designs manifest an ancient vibe that compliments modern style.  It’s all for my fellow Free Spirits who want a different way to express themselves and not be fettered by what everyone else is wearing. 

UrbanBohoChic wrap jewelry is long, luxurious, hand-beaded strands designed to be worn multiple ways.  All beads and stones are handmade and/or fair trade from Africa, Indonesia, Tibet, Columbia and beyond.  Earrings and rings are metal smithed of brass, sterling, bronze, copper & natural stones.    All metals are US-sourced; stones and beads are sourced from other, small businesses like mine.     

Without fully realizing it, I have been deeply inspired by the handmade beads of Africa which exhibit skilled metal work while still embracing wabi-sabi and the beauty of handmade.  I am in constant study of body adornment from Africa and Southeast Asia and how I can translate that for the beautiful and powerful people who buy my jewelry.  My customers inspire me, too.  It is amazing and energizing when you meet someone and your styles vibe high.   I take that back to the bench and it helps me manifest the next beautiful thing to adorn ourselves with.
