I have been working for about 20 years out of my basement and garage shops right here in Doylestown, PA. Every piece I create is unique. With the exception of a few wood accents every bowl and piece of furniture comes from local trees either downed in storms or cut by homeowners. Larger logs are trucked to a nearby sawmill. I try to use as much of the wood as possible. Every piece seems to ‘want’ to be something, and I do my best to reveal it. I use a variety of finishes. The finishes on bowls are all ‘food safe.’ Hand washed with water and a mild soap they should last for many years. An occasional ‘refresh’ with Tung, Boiled Linseed or Mineral Oil will keep them looking good. Feel free to call me directly if you have any questions about my work.
