I am a woodworker/furniture maker/artist/teacher. I have been making things from wood since my father gave me a set of real tools when I was six years old. Since then, I have gottten somewhat better at it.
My work ranges from fully functional contemporary furniture to purely aesthetic sculpture. I particularly enjoy making mirrors and have a new line I will be debuting this fall. Along with my larger pieces I also make a variety of food-related wares and smaller gift items—art for everyday use.
I truly believe that using handmade items improves everyone’s life. Whether you are buying for yourself or to give as a gift there is a deeper meaning in the handmade. Your are acquiring a small piece of another human being’s life…an item made honestly and deliberately, with great thought and care..an item meant to last and be cherished.
I look forward to meeting you in person and to share my work with you.
