I took my first pottery course about 20 years ago while working on a Computer Science degree at Moravian College and have been working with clay as a hobby ever since.

I’m especially interested in outdoor firing processes like Naked Raku, Saggar, Obvara and Horsehair. The effect on a piece can be influenced by the materials used in the firing but it can not be fully controlled. Each piece is completely unique
