I started turning wood in 1997. All of my bowls and hollow forms are cut from “green” or freshly cut local woods. I prefer hardwoods such as Cherry, Ash, Maple, Walnut and Oak. Recently I have begun to embellish my bowls with carving and milk paint. The designs are inspired by tribal African and Aboriginal art.
