Barbara Tiberio has a Masters In Art Education, Summa Cum Laude, Kutztown University, Kutztown, PA.

~ A retired Pennsylvania Art Educator of 33 years in The Reading School District, she is currently
on the teaching staff at Albright College, Reading PA & The Baum School of Art, Allentown, PA.
~ Barbara’s silk painting was internationally recognized in the text “Creative Silk Painting” by
Tuckman / Janas 1995. She has also taught several silk painting classes at The Goggleworks,
Reading, PA.
~ Tiberio’s hand embellished textile work, an homage to Janis Joplin, was selected by the artist
Judy Chicago to be part of The International Honor Quilt which travelled with Chicago’s “The Dinner
Party” & is now in the permanent collection of The University Of Louisville’s Hite Art Institute,
Louisville, Kentucky.
~ Barbara’s work has been recognized in various regional newsworthy publications.
